Before Razz became a patisserie on Home Street, it was a word from home.
In the Kurdish highlands of northwest Iran, where we are from, lies Alan — a region where wild vines grow quietly, without anyone tending them. Year after year, they return — sweet, patient and unpretentious.
Our people call them ڕەز — Razz: wild grapes whose taste, they say, is the taste of life itself.
We took our name from those vines. Not only for what they are, but for what they carry: patience, memory, and a sense of belonging.
At Razz, a coffee is not just a drink, and a pastry is not just food. Our saffron comes from the soil of Qaen, where sun and morning dew pour gold into the roots. Our rosewater is distilled from Damask roses grown in Qamsar, near Kashan — the same flower, the same copper pots, the same method used for over a thousand years. Our cardamom and cinnamon carry the scent of home. Everything here is made with soul, not only hands.
We believe that when something is made with love, its taste is different. It has feeling. It builds memory. It stays with you.
Razz is not a place. It is a feeling. The taste of authenticity. The fragrance of memory. A reminder of that wild vine — silent, unhurried, growing still.
Welcome to Razz — where every sip and every bite comes from the heart of the roots.
